Who we are

FairPick (fairpick.com) is a free collection of random decision-making tools — name pickers, spin wheels, team generators, and more. We are an independent project and not affiliated with any large organisation.

Information we do not collect

FairPick's tools run entirely in your browser. We have no server-side processing for any of the tool functions. This means:

• The names and lists you type or paste into our tools are never sent anywhere — they live only in your browser's memory and, when saved, in your own browser's local storage.
• Questions you ask the Yes/No generator are never transmitted or logged.
• The numbers you generate, the teams you build, and the wheels you spin are all computed locally on your device.
• We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use any part of the site.

Information that may be collected automatically

When you visit FairPick, some technical data is collected automatically as part of normal website operation and through third-party services:

Server / hosting logs
Our web host may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used for security, performance monitoring, and diagnosing technical issues. It is not used to identify individual users and is not combined with any other data.

Google AdSense
FairPick displays ads served by Google AdSense to support free access to the site. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalised or contextual ads based on your visits to this and other websites. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Google Analytics (if enabled)

FairPick is a general-audience tool used by many teachers for classroom purposes. Our tools do not require users to enter any personal information whatsoever. If you believe a child has somehow submitted personal information through our site, please contact us so we can address it.

Data security

Because FairPick does not transmit or store the data you enter into our tools, the risk of a data breach involving your personal information is minimal by design. The technical data collected by our hosting and analytics providers is protected by those providers' own security measures.

Your rights
