Is FairPick really free?
Yes, completely free. Every tool, every feature, no signup, no subscription. We keep the lights on with non-intrusive ads through Google AdSense. There's no premium tier and there never will be — randomness should be accessible to everyone.
How is the randomness generated?
We use crypto.getRandomValues() — your browser's built-in cryptographically-strong random number generator. This is the same source used to generate encryption keys and security tokens. It's far more random than Math.random(), with no predictable patterns or seeds you can game.
Is my data sent to your servers?
No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. The names you type, the questions you ask, the lists you paste — none of it is ever transmitted to or stored on our servers. What you type stays with you. The only data that leaves your device is what Google AdSense uses for serving ads, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Can I use FairPick for commercial giveaways?
Absolutely. Many businesses, YouTubers, Instagram creators, and TikTok accounts use FairPick to pick giveaway winners publicly. There are no restrictions on commercial use. We recommend screen-recording the pick for transparency with your audience.
